​Purpose:

The Architectural Review Committee’s vision and philosophy is to encourage consistent quality and design presence throughout Castle Pointe, while allowing for individuality of improvement by its’ owners. The consistent look of properties contributes to the general curb appeal of the neighborhood. This, in turn, improves property values.

The Architectural Guidelines define the means by which homes built at Castle Pointe can be compatible with each other. They establish the basis for the Master DCCRs-in compliance with the spirit of Castle Pointe’s original design to facilitate mutual enhancement and protection of the Castle Pointe’s assets.

To review and approve/disapprove Home Improvement Requests submitted by Castle Pointe homeowners.

Landscaping Liaison Purpose:

The Landscaping Liaison’s vision is to support the Architectural Committee commitments to the Castle Pointe Community desire to ensure uniformity and maintain its’ aesthetic appeal with regards to landscaping. The liaison is committed to assume the link between the landscaper and the homeowner and assist with the communication of issues, remedies and action.

Authority/Responsibilities:

The Castle Pointe ARC operates under the authority granted in the “Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Castle Pointe. Article VI called Architectural Review Committee.” The ARC responsibilities are as documented in the above article.

Term:

As documented in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Castle Pointe, there is no express term of service length for ARC members. Each serve at the discretion of the Castle Pointe HOA Board and may choose to leave at any time, or may be removed by the board at any time.

Number/Members:

Per the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Castle Pointe, there is a requirement that there be 3 or more members on the ARC. Currently, we have 5 members serving: 2 Architectural, 2 Landscaping Liaisons and 1 Architectural/Landscaping Liaison.

Committee Structure:

The ARC shall consist of 3 or more persons appointed by the Executive Board. The committee may designate a representative to act for it.

Relationship to Board of Directors:

All members serve at the discretion of the Castle Pointe HOA Board.

Relationship to Management:

​The ARC works closely with, and relies upon, the support of the management company’s designated administrator, who responds to homeowner questions, provides administrative assistance with homeowner requests and notifications, maintains records, and provides periodic updates on outstanding issues.
